Linus is very popular among technically inclined computer users, including software developers and network admins. However, in recent years, Linux has grown in popularity among business people and other users who are not as technically inclined.

Linux is popular for many different reasons. Linux is especially popular because of the fact that it is free, reliable, and secure compared to other operating systems.

How to Learn Linux

Linux is taught in high school and college computer science curriculums, but there are also hundreds of great Linux courses available through Udemy, Coursera, and other online courses. Videos available (like the one below) on YouTube and other video sharing platforms teach most of the common usages of Linux. There are also bootcamps in most major cities throughout the United States and internationally where you can get a solid foundation in Linux.
